WHO WE ARE

ABOUT VERTEX STRUCTURES

Vertex Structures is a premier manufacturer and supplier of high-quality outdoor enclosures, shelters, and structures designed for housing and mounting equipment and machinery. With a rich history and a solid foundation, Vertex Structures has emerged as a market leader in the industry, providing innovative solutions for various sectors worldwide.

OUR JOURNEY

The Vertex name has been associated with high-quality, long-lasting fiberglass shelters for over 50 years.  The name originated with Vertex Plastics Inc. in 1973, a fiberglass shelter manufacturing company in Kearney, MO.  Vertex Structures, established in 2014, was born out of the acquisition of Vertex Plastics.  With this acquisition came staff with over 90 years of combined experience, a proven production process, and the molds to continue producing a unique, molded fiberglass shelter.  Most importantly was the proven track record of a Vertex shelter; a lightweight, well-insulated, durable shelter that can easily last 30-40 or more years in the harshest environments around the globe with minimal to no maintenance.

Vertex Structures, supported by experts with over 30 years of individual experience in engineering, design, and implementation of integrated systems for ground-based navigation, communication, and surveillance systems, expanded its product offerings to include new fiberglass shelter sizes, new fiberglass products, steel shelters, and other steel accessory products. This collective expertise, combined with our manufacturing capabilities, enables us to offer not only exceptional shelters and structures but also innovative solutions and related services that meet the evolving demands of our customers.

UNMATCHED EXPERTISE

At Vertex Structures, we recognize the importance of preserving the core expertise and processes that have made the Vertex name highly respected within many industries. We have diligently retained the proven methods and knowledge of Vertex Plastics while adding new techniques and expertise, ensuring that our products and services maintain the highest standards of quality and reliability.

EXTENSIVE TRACK RECORD

Over the years, Vertex directly supplied more than 3,129 shelters to customers all over the world.  The largest Vertex customer has been the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).  Vertex has supplied over 776 shelters directly to the FAA with many of them still in service today.  In total, Vertex has supplied over 1500 shelters to house ground-based navigation, communication, and surveillance equipment to various customers including the US Army, US Air Force, the Department of Defense, Foreign Military Sales Program and the US Navy. Vertex has worked with a wide range of government agencies for other shelter uses as well.  The US Geological Services has purchased over 148 shelters for gauge houses and other uses.  The US Coast Guard has installed over 101 shelters for various projects including the Rescue 21 Program.  This impressive track record with demanding government agencies and defense contractors speaks volumes about our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
